I had a similar experience with this travel agency. Do yourself a favor and book somewhere else.

The WORST we booked with Lauren in Febuary to Jamaica. Our first issue, when we called, we called Granite Run location they failed to tell us they moved to Springfield, Pa and the phone where re-routed. So we drove a pretty far distance to an empty mall, to have to go back the opposite way back to Springfield. We had our hearts set to go to Jamaica for my birthday, to have a male agent try to discourage us, and book to Cancun... NO THANKS ! So we sat with Lauren, who had already looked into some prices and places ready upon arrival (did something right) we decided on the Riu, in Ochios Rios. In the past I booked with Liberty (Granite Run) after being referred by my mother and her fiancé who have stayed at a Riu in Negril 6 times, so of course we booked at the same hotel and city in 2012, but this time we chose a different place in Jamaica. I don’t know how new Lauren is but our trip Ocean Front was a total of $1589.51 charged to our TD bank accounts 2 separate accounts. Then separately charged to both our accounts was a total charge of $1144.00 for US Airways, there 6 charges for $572.00 and four charges that stated $0.00. But for some reason only showed 1144.00 from the account. This totaled $2733.51 per person ??? We booked to Jamaica NOT Bora Bora ? So of course the very next day I called to see what the issue was. Lauren stated these separate “US Airways” charges where just for booking purchases and in 3-4 days they would drop off, THEY DID NOT they held up CASH money in our CHECKING ACCOUNTS for close to 3 WEEKS. After several calls back and fourth it was to the point where we where set to call TD Bank and report it as FRAUDULANT CHAURGES, but they all finally dropped off. Needless to say, we where BROKE for at least 2 weeks until we both got our paychecks. So a month and a half goes by and my friend and I are asking each other if we heard from Liberty Travel about our tickets cause of course its April 10th we leave on the 20th and we heard nothing. I called on the 10th and I spoke with Susan, I asked her if they had come and she states yes they are there, I asked her if it was normal that our booking agent wouldn’t call and let either of us know? She rudely responded I’m sure Lauren emailed you before she went away, now reminder there are 2 of us, 2 separate phone numbers this girl could have contacted us on and why you ask should she have called BECAUSE NEITHER ONE OF US LEFT AN EMAIL AS A POINT OF CONTACT. Now what’s funny is Susan stated the words “went away” did this girl go on some sort of vacation and not even contact us our tickets where there. Now we are fed up so I asked Susan for the corporate number where I am introduced to Dawn, I explain to her everything that has happened and how I have lost all confidence with Liberty, she looked into it and found out at our time of booking there was in FACT a computer glitch in the system, and that’s why we where charged so many times. She went over our itinerary to confirm it correct, and it was (surprised). So for basically a month of Liberty Travel holding up $1144.00, and us getting by that time by the skin on our teeth, we where offered $100 off our NEXT trip HA HA !! NEXT ! NEVER AGAIN ! I will remind other never to book through them either, obviously they must need that money !
