My husband and I when to Famous Dave's in Springfield for take out Friday night. The young lady who helped us, Taylor was fantastic. She was so warm and pleasant . With each customer she took the time and when over their order before they left. I'm from the old school when people told the time to be nice. It was a joy to see!
Yes, it's a chain but given the dearth of decent BBQ in this area it's a great option for comfort food. We had a sampler and it was delicious. The only reason not to give it 5 stars is if you find a true BBQ joint to compare it with.
Uses to be great, but no longer. Horrible service and the brisket tastes like beef jerky. Tiny wings. The baby backs and chicken were decent.
The service was exceptional. The restaurant was very clean and well-kept. The food itself was delicious and well worth it. It was an inexpensive family meal and I would recommend them again.
